Hihu hôm qua đã giới thiệu một band với nữ hát chính nên giờ sẽ là giọng ca nam ngọt ngào đến từ Thụy Điển, vẫn nhờ random click thần thánh ở góc  indie rock thánh thần trên youtube lol

The Perishers - indie rock band của Thụy Điển, thành lập năm 1997 với 6 thành viên.
Đến năm 2001, thành viên chính thức của nhóm gồm: Ola Kluft (hát chính, guitar), Martin Gustafson (keyboards, hát bè), Pehr Astrom (bass) và Thomas Hedlund (trống).


Năm 2005, nhóm được Sarah McLachlan chọn để mở đầu tour diễn Afterglow của cô. Mỗi đêm trong chuyến lưu diễn, Sarah tham cùng band nhạc và hát bè cho ca khúc "Pills" của họ. Bản live của bài hát đã được phát hành như một CD single và EP đặc biệt bởi Tower Records.


Ngoài ra, rất nhiều ca khúc của họ trở thành nhạc nền cho các tv series của Mỹ như: The O.C, One Tree Hill, Greek và Veronica Mars.
Sarah Isaksson (giáo viên thanh nhạc cũ của Kluft) góp giọng trong ca khúc "Pills" của nhóm.
"My heart" được phát trên quảng cáo Saturn Sedan  đồng thời xuất hiện trong một episode của series Kyle XY.
Một bài hát khác, "Trouble sleeping" được bật trên đoạn quảng bá của series "Grey's Anatomy" và "Come out of the shade" cũng được phát trong một episode của show này.


Kluft còn biễu diễn dưới một nghệ danh khác là "A Lanky Swede", vào ngày 14 tháng 4 năm 2011, anh phát hành single đầu tiên của mình.

Daughter - band nhạc indie folk/folk rock từ London, thành lập từ năm 2010.
Gồm 3 thành viên: Elena Tonra - hát chính, Igor Haefeli (guitar) và Remi Aguilella (trống).
Sau khi phát hành 3 EPs vào 2010 và 2011, họ kí hợp đồng với 4AD và chuẩn bị phát hành debut album vào ngày 18 tháng 3 tới đây.


Vì vốn từ buồn tẻ và khả năng diễn đạt siêu tệ hại và cái tâm trạng lơ lửng nửa vời nên đã nhiều lần định viết review rồi lại vứt đấy, hôm nay ngồi buồn chờ torrent của Doctor who nên lại lôi ra, đây là một trong những indie band mà mình vô cùng vô cùng vô cùng thích.


Mượn lời một bài viết trên mạng về những bài hát của Elena: "She talks about unrequited love, lost hope and death... in the prettiest way imaginable."
Giai điệu, lyrics và giọng hát có phần day dứt, ám ảnh của Elena - tất cả khiến cho âm nhạc của họ có cái gì đó đặc biệt vô cùng, muốn biết thế nào thì chỉ cần nghe thử thôi chứ nghe mình lảm nhảm dài dòng cũng vô dụng haha :D
